Services

Flutter app development,
support, and consulting

Three services, one focus: Flutter apps for iOS and Android, built properly and kept that way.

Development

Flutter App Development

Flutter builds native-feeling apps for iOS and Android from a single codebase. One place to build, test, and ship, instead of maintaining two separate native apps side by side.

I build every app around what your users actually need to do, with clean, typed Dart code and an architecture that's easy to extend as the app grows. From a first prototype through to App Store and Play Store release.

What you get

  • One codebase, two platforms — a single Flutter codebase shipping native-feeling apps on iOS and Android.

  • An app that feels native — smooth animations and fast startup, built for how people actually use a phone.

  • A design that's yours — a custom design system when a project calls for it, rather than a generic component kit.

  • Clean, maintainable code — typed Dart throughout, structured so the app is easy to extend later, not just launch once.

  • Store-ready from day one — built with App Store and Play Store submission in mind from the start.

Maintenance

Maintenance & Support

An app doesn't stop needing attention once it's live. iOS and Android releases move, Flutter and its packages update, and users find edge cases you didn't plan for.

The care plan keeps an existing app working: dependency and OS updates, bug fixes, and small improvements, so you're not caught out by an update that breaks something six months after launch.

What you get

  • OS and dependency updates — kept current as iOS, Android, and Flutter itself move forward.

  • Bug fixes — issues found by you or your users, triaged and fixed.

  • Store submissions handled — updates prepared and submitted to the App Store and Play Store.

  • Room to grow — space to add new features whenever your app needs them.

  • A direct line — you reach the person who actually knows the codebase, not a support queue.

Consulting

Technical Consulting

Not every project needs a full build from day one. Sometimes what's useful is an honest opinion: is Flutter the right fit, is an existing codebase in good shape, or what would it take to add a feature you have in mind.

I review architecture, advise on stack choices, and give a straight answer on scope and feasibility before you commit budget to a build.

What you get

  • Is Flutter right for you? — an honest read on whether cross-platform is the right call for your project.

  • Codebase review — a look at an existing Flutter app's architecture, code quality, and technical debt.

  • Scope and feasibility — a clear view of what a feature or rebuild would actually take before you commit to it.

  • Architecture advice — guidance on structuring a new or growing app so it stays maintainable.

  • No obligation to build — consulting stands on its own. You're free to take the advice elsewhere.

How it works

How a project runs

From your first message to a released app.

1

First contact

You send a message through the contact form. I reply within a working day, and we plan a free, informational talk about what you need. No obligations.

2

Proposal

After our talk you get one clear document: what I'll build, when it's ready, and the fixed price. You decide with everything on the table.

3

Build

I work in short cycles. You follow the progress and see the app take shape before it ever reaches the store.

4

Launch & support

Your app goes live on the App Store and Play Store. Afterwards I stay reachable, and there's a care plan if you want regular updates.

Questions

Questions and answers

The things clients ask before we start.

Before we start

What does an app cost?
Every build project gets one fixed price, agreed before we start. No hourly billing, no surprises afterwards. The free talk tells me what your project needs, and you get the price in one clear proposal.
How long does a project take?
That depends on the size and complexity of the app. The proposal names the timeline together with the price, so you know both before we start.
What happens with my existing app?
If you already have a Flutter app, I review it as part of the free talk so you get clear answers on what's involved before we start, whether that's new features, a fix, or a maintenance handover.
Do you publish to the App Store and Play Store for me?
Yes. Store listing, submission, and review handling are part of the build. You don't need to navigate that yourself.
Do we need to meet in person?
It's not needed. Most projects run entirely by phone, video, and email. I work with clients across the UK and remotely, and time zones are rarely a problem.

Working with me

Are you a company or agency?
I'm a one-person business: a freelancer, not an agency. You work directly with the person doing the work, from the first talk to the finished app. No sales team, no account managers, no handoffs.
Can I get changes made after launch?
Yes. Send me what you need, and the care plan exists exactly for that: fixes, updates, and small feature additions after launch.
Do you only build with Flutter?
Yes. Flutter and Dart are what I specialise in. If a project genuinely calls for a fully native app instead, I'll say so rather than force-fit it.
Is the code really mine?
Completely. The source code, the store listings, and any backend configuration are in your name from day one. If you ever want to move on, you take everything with you.
What happens if something breaks after launch?
I stay reachable after launch, and the care plan covers ongoing monitoring, OS updates, and fixes so small issues get caught before they affect users.
Let's talk

Ready to talk specifics?

The first talk is free and informative, with no obligations: by phone, video, or email. You get honest answers, and after the talk one clear proposal with a timeline and a fixed price.
